Since 1989, starting with the first Thai Restaurant in Northwest Suburban towns, in the heart of downtown Naperville, The Bangkok Village Restaurant. Due to enormous success with The Bangkok Village Restaurant (Naperville), in 1991 they then experimented in the town that never sleeps, on Rush and State Street, The Bangkok Village 2. These inspired Lemon Grass Restaurant in Naperville, opening in 1994, Blue Elephant, north of Chicago, opening in 1997, and finally Thai Village Restaurant in Batavia, opening in 2004.
